EAT OUT TO HELP OUT AT METROPOLITAN, GLASGOW – PEACHY MENU PICKS

Our favourite Merchant City client, Metropolitan, are taking part in the Eat Out To Help Out Government scheme to encourage you to eat out in your favourite restaurants in Glasgow for less throughout August. You can save a whopping 50% on all food and non-alcholic drinks (sadly, Prosecco is not included) all day, every Monday – Wednesday until the 31st of August.

One of the occupational hazards of regularly shooting new content for Metropolitan is that we’ve now tried just about every dish on the menu, much to the demise of our diets.

We thought we’d put together a list of our favourite dishes available on their delicious new All Day Dining menu.

1. SIRLOIN STEAK

A good steak is definitely what stands between either of us ever even considering becoming vegetarian and the 8oz Sirloin Steak at Metropolitan always arrives cooked to perfection.

Make sure you upgrade your fries to the Parmesan fries – you can thank us later!

2. TERRIYAKI SALMON FILLET

The delicious Terriyaki Salmon Fillet is definitely one of Vic’s fave dishes on the menu as she’s pretty obsessed with anything served with pak choi – a truly under-rated vegetable, in her humble opinion.

3. PANKO CHICKEN BURGER

We’re both guilty of ordering the Panko Chicken Burger when we just can’t what we’re in the mood for; it never fails to hit the spot and the homemade ‘slaw on the side adds just the right amount on tanginess!

4. COBB SALAD

A new and verrry much welcome addition to the All Day Dining menu, the Cobb salad is an instant classic and is super filling and tasty! Also know to order a cheeky little side of Parmesan fries cos, ya know, carbs are life, right?!

5. STARTERS TO SHARE

If we’re in the mood of lots of little nibbles, the range of starters are perfect for sharing. The Tattie Scone Nachos are a pretty genius take on the classic Mexican dish and, where there are Halloumi Fries available, you can generally find the Peachy gals not to far behind… The prawns are spicy and perfect for sharing, tapas style!
